Many companies sites aren't up-front about their pricing. We are.

That all depends on what is required. Our charges are time-based and the following components form part of most drone operations:

• Preparation: Where is the job? Are there any flying restrictions that apply? Are there any hazards to be aware of? Is there access to the target location or is there some on-foot-only portion/s? If any other properties are involved, do we have permission to fly over if necessary. Is there an alternative arrangement if bad weather occurs? Etc...etc.
• Travel: From leaving base to arriving at the shoot location.
• Flight preparation: Liaise with client to ensure objectives are clearly understood and achievable.
• Pre-Flight set-up and checks.
• Flight time: As necessary.
• Post-Flight: Secure equipment, transfer footage/images. Review as necessary.
• Travel: Return to base.
• Production: Video/Image editing, logo embedding (where required) etc. Draft output for client review. Final output to client requirements or to suit intended uses and/or environments.

As you can see there are more steps than you would think. Don't be alarmed, in most instances the actual time taken is fairly short... a few hours or so. In some instances it may be necessary to have a site visit prior to the actual shoot day in order to scope the environment, possible hazards etc. This will of course result in more time and therefore greater cost.

The good news: Our hourly charge is a very reasonable NZ$75.00 + GST as at Jan 2020, so call us now to arrange your drone footage. Travel time is split from the overall job and charged at the lower rate of $45.00 + GST per hour.
